NBC Keeps Same Approach With Premier League Coverage After Record Viewership Last Season

NBC's Strategy

NBC Sports, which has carried the Premier League for 12 seasons, plans to maintain its current coverage strategy after the league saw record viewership last season.

NBCUniversal's Premier League deal, announced in 2021, runs through the 2027-28 season with matches aired on NBC, USA, and Peacock.

Record-Breaking Viewership

The 2023-24 season was NBC Sports' second-best season for Premier League games, averaging 507,000 viewers across NBC, NBCSN, and USA.

The most-watched match window was Arsenal vs. Manchester United on New Year's Day, which drew 1.1 million viewers on NBCSN.

Coverage Approach

NBC Sports will continue to have its studio team of Rebecca Lowe, Robbie Earle, Robbie Mustoe, and Tim Howard on-site in England for pre- and post-match coverage.

The network will also continue to offer a variety of shoulder programming, including the Premier League Mornings show on Peacock and the Premier League Post Match Show on NBCSN.
