Toyota Recalls 145,000 Vehicles Due to Safety Concerns

Affected Models:

• 2024 Toyota Grand Highlander
• 2024 Lexus TX

Reason for Recall:

The recall is due to a safety issue related to the vehicles' anti-lock brake system (ABS) modulator. The ABS modulator may malfunction, causing the brakes to become inoperable and increasing the risk of a crash.

Approximately 145,000 vehicles are affected by this recall. The affected vehicles were produced between September 2022 and June 2023.

Toyota is urging owners of the affected vehicles to contact their local Toyota dealer to schedule an appointment for the recall repair. The repair will replace the ABS modulator and the brake fluid.

Toyota is cooperating with the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) on this recall.
