Indiana Pacers All-Star Pascal Siakam Making History
Unbelievable Start to 2024 NBA Playoffs
Siakam Leads Pacers to Early Success
The Indiana Pacers are off to a hot start in the 2024 NBA Playoffs, thanks in large part to the incredible play of All-Star forward Pascal Siakam. Through the first two games of the first round against the Toronto Raptors, Siakam has been nothing short of sensational, averaging 37.5 points and 12.5 rebounds per game.
On Tuesday night, Siakam put on a clinic in Game 2, erupting for a game-high 40 points while also grabbing 10 rebounds. His performance marked the first time a Pacers player has scored at least 40 points in a playoff game since Reggie Miller in 2000.
Siakam's dominance has not only helped the Pacers take a 2-0 lead in the series, but it has also put him in the NBA record books. According to Stats Perform, Siakam is the first NBA player to open a postseason with consecutive 35-point, 10-rebound performances since Wilt Chamberlain in 1967.
The Pacers will look to continue their success in Game 3 on Thursday night in Toronto. With Siakam playing at an MVP level, anything is possible for the Pacers.
